Our cottage was nicely furnished with ample drawers and storage for all of our things. The decor was simple but very pleasant with prints of local scenes on the walls. The bathroom was white, which I love because you can tell how clean it was. The dishes, microwave, fridge, and other amenities in the room made for a very easy and pleasant stay. The grounds were beautiful with interesting things to see everywhere. We enjoyed the nice hot tub and the ping pong table. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcome. There were free snacks available, plus a nice simple free grab and go breakfast. Our room was cleaned every day and looked so nice with extra touches, like placing our child's stuffed toys on the bed against the pillows. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, and we also very much enjoyed the love seat for watching tv or reading the local paper, which was delivered outside our room every morning. I could keep going but you get the picture. I truthfully have nothing negative to say. We absolutely loved our stay and will return for sure.

This is our second time staying in Andril Fireplace Cottages, and we had a wonderful time. The woman who runs the office was incredibly helpful, and, when she found out I couldn't eat gluten, she took the time to list all of the best gluten free restaurants in the area. The cottage was spacious, quiet, clean, and very comfortable, with a kitchen, a gas fireplace, and a private patio. We loved that you could borrow movies on Blu-ray from the office to watch in the room (and enjoy with a bag of microwave popcorn in your room). They also have a variety of free snacks available. The cottages are located within walking distance of Asilomar State Beach, which is beautiful, and a wonderful place to go tidepooling.

Clean. Location. People so very friendly. Quite. It was one of the best places we have stayed. The 11 of us on the trip voted it the BEST place we’ve stayed this trip as well as others. We used the grill provided. Played in the awesome yard area. Set outside and enjoyed each other and the area. Used the hot tub. Enjoyed the simple breakfast and snacks. Could visit Point Lobos, Big Sur, Monterey, Aquarium , beautiful drives in the area, Caramel by the Sea area, and much more. We cheated ourselves only spending 3 1/2 days there. Should have stayed longer. GREAT place

We’ve stayed here before so knew what to expect. The accommodation is wonderful: everything has been thought of. Comfortable bed(s), well equipped kitchen, cable TV, small outdoor private space but lots of communal space too. Breakfast and snacks provided. Each room/cottage has a barbecue and a wood burner. The no 2 bus into Pacific Grove or Monterey stops right outside we discovered this time around! You can watch the deer in the grounds of the Asilomar Conference Centre as well. Trader Joe’s and Safeway are a 5/10 minute drive for your supplies. We would always stay here when visiting. Great set up, lovely staff.

Dog friendly, clean, EV charger, continental breakfast and snacks available, filtered water at the office, gas fireplace, great location, powerful toilet flush. Able to relax and recharge. We have stayed several times with our dogs and intend to return.

Breakfast was mostly snacking items, fruit and juice. No big deal since I am not a big breakfast person. It is a money saver since most restaurants in the area are $$$. My unit was perfect for 1 to 2 guests. Bed was great. I enjoyed the mini patio. It was nice sitting outside with a glass of wine and a snack as well as morning coffee.

Great place to get away with family! The patio and outside lawn area were perfect to hang out and let our toddler grandson run around. Good space and rooms. Having 2 bathrooms and an extra sink was super handy. The community BBQ loved it. Hot tub, great for some grown-up relaxing. Impressive DVD library. And the housekeeping staff was wonderful.

We loved our stay! Loved the location, the snacks, and kitchen area. It was so close to the beach that we walked. The staff was lovely too, every single person we interacted with was wonderful. The room and patio felt well thought out and was spacious enough for our family of 3. The park area was great too, we discovered it mid-stay and was a perfect place for our toddler to run around! We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Wow-what a gem of a place we found to stay. Our family of 4 had a 2bd/1bth/kitchen/patio cottage. We were able to cook meals/relax in the hot tub after a hike to Point Lobos. We were able to grab a snack at the front lobby at any time of the day. The lobby had a good variety of dvd's to choose from. Carrie and Orion/pomerianian were very helpful. The location was close to all of our ventures-aquarium, McWay falls, 17 mile drive, Fernwood, Big Sur, etc. Lola enjoyed the patio area and the grass area, where she was able to run and play with the dog toys avail. Asilomar beach was just steps away from the cottage. It was nice to read a book on the patio and listen to the birds chatting. It was a bonus to see a deer along the path near our cottage. Enjoyable trip.

We traveled with a group of people for a bike-focused trip. The cottages with their porches made getting our bikes in and out every day very easy. There was plenty of room to store our gear and still enjoy space. We stayed in a King Luxury Cottage with a full kitchen that was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. The bed and pillows were all very comfy. I liked the blinds that opened from top or bottom, letting us have light without exposing ourselves to the world. Water pressure and temperature was great in the bathroom. We didn't use the fireplace but it was well stocked with great-smelling wood. The free snack bar was awesome. It was nice having a large communal table in the BBQ area for our big group. Some of our friends took advantage of the hot tub and said it was nice.
